Global cobalt supply

Back in August 2019 Glencore announced that its cobalt mining operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo would be placed on care and maintenance for at least two years.  Now, the operations, representing twenty per cent of the world’s cobalt supply, are off line a month earlier than expected.
